My Christmas in July gift arrived today!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Today I opened my mailbox and was excited to see

a big box waiting there for me!!

(There were two!! Another was a jewelry

bits & bobs order)

My partner for the Christmas in July Gift Exchange

is the lovely Terry Cohoe from
These Peas Taste Funny and she was soooo
generous! She knew life for me was hectic since
I had just moved for the 2nd time within a month and
a half (nightmare story that one....)
So the theme of my gift package was
Relax!

I am a button fanatic... For those of you that didnt know
that already, hehe! So Terry made me a D (for Dana) out of
beautiful blue buttons - it is the very first thing on the wall of my
new studio! I love it :)
She also made me a lovely crocheted bracelet with
blue bicones, it's so pretty! I'm wearing it right now.
Bath salts as well, they smell fresh and citrus-y,
I wonder if she made them herself? I think so :)
I cant wait to use them tonight, it's my first day off and
that relaxing bath is much needed!

But wait - there's even more!!
She's so generous!

A mini bottle of ice wine with two little
wine glasses! So cute!
3 mice for Malachai, my kittu - she loves them :)
A "D" stamp and some awesome buttons!
I love the little purple square vintage ones.

She definitely out did me - Wow!
I'm so lucky, my Terry Santa was good to me :)

My gift is sent!

Today I finally sent my 

Christmas in July Gift Exchange handmade present!

I got an email from my lovely partner

Terry a few days ago apologising for her sending

the gift so late - little did she know

I hadnt sent mine yet either!

Tomorrow is moving day for me so I have so 

much going on but the sending out deadline isnt

until tomorrow so we are both safe!!

When I went to the post office, he told me if I 

sent it express it would be $1 cheaper, so that made me 

pretty excited since it has a guaranteed

delivery date of BY Tuesday!

I gave her the tracking # too so that if she gets as excited 

as I do when I have something coming, she can

go check out where it is :)

I hope she loves her gifts - I'm sure

she will.... I put a lil somethin' somethin' in there for

her from my day job....

I know - not handmade - but it's extra!

I can't wait to post photos of what I sent her

and to see what she made and sent for me!

I signed up for my first ever online gift exchange

and I'm so super stoked about it!!

I always see fun things like gift exchanges, swaps,

challenges and always want to take part, so

I've decided that my first one will be

Happy Hour Projects Christmas in July!

I've already been matched up with my partner,

she's in Ontario and I think we were

matched up perfectly!

Adrianne did a great job, I cant wait to

make my partner some awesome creations,
